Yodie the nagging cat

(himself lounging on the back of the sofa table)








Jake comes running up to me and says "Mommy, Yodie nagged at me!".
So I have this mental picture of the cat "nagging" Jake to eat his dinner.
"Eat, eat, please just eat your dinner!" says Yodie cat.

I say, "He told you to eat you dinner?"
"No, he went hissssssss!" (but picture Jake with the mean face and mouth wide open)

"Ah. Were you teasing him?"

"No, I's just tryin to pet him!" (Jake just trying to pet the cat can be the same as a mauling)

Now when I have to remind Jake to be gentle and leave the cat alone, I ask "Do you want Yodie to Nag you again?"
